How does the proofing process work with Enhanced CD Programming at ICON?
After receipt of your materials, we supply you with a screen shot of the enhanced main page created from your supplied artwork files. Once this is approved, we program the Enhanced CD using the approved screenshot as the reference. Before creating the final master, we send screenshots of each page to confirm content, placement, etc. Once we have that final approval, we create the workable Enhanced CD master, and send it out to you for final approval before manufacturing.

Do you have the ability to encode the band, album, and track information so it recognizable when a listener puts the CD in a computer?
There are generally two ways this is achieved. First is CD-TEXT, which encodes the information on to the CD. This option will allow the information to be displayed on some car and home stereo systems. This will not display on iTunes or Windows Media Player. ICON has the ability to encode CD-TEXT. If you'd like CD-TEXT just let us know when placing your order.
Computer music players like iTunes and Windows Media Player retrieve information about the band, album title, and track name from the internet. Most commonly these programs refer to the online CDDB database. If you'd like to register your information with CDDB, you can do so at www.CDDB.com, or submit information directly from the iTunes program. If you have any questions about CDDB, ICON will try to answer your questions as best we can!
